Pumpkin Patch

Trevor and I along with my parents, my sister, brother-in-law, and the girls went to the Pumpkin Patch this past Sunday. We had a good time but it was so hot compared to what I thought it was going to be. Most of us had on long sleeves and pants and we were dying. The girls had such a good time. Maci and Madison loved picking out their pumpkins and riding the train. Madison actually went back the next day with all the first graders. We didn't do the jumping things just because the lines were so incredibly long and we had already been there for like 3 hours.

We went to church Sunday morning and then met at my parents to ride with them. When we first got there we had a small picnic with the whole family making sandwiches and all of that.



Then it was off to craziness with the girls. We got on the hay ride first to pick out a pumpkin.





Madison had the hardest time doing that because there was so many she didn't want to miss a good one by picking out one too early. Maci on the other hand kept trying to pick up pumpkins that were too big for her and would say, "uhh, so heavy". It was so cute.







After the hay ride we watched them ride the train and played in the sunflowers and of course couldn't leave without a little cotton candy.





There was a helicopter there that you could pay to ride and Maci really liked watching it.



My sister and the kids stayed a little longer than us to let them play a little more but we were tired along with my parents so we left. All in all it turned out pretty good.

Football weekend

On Thurday night my wonderful husband took me to one of our favorite places to eat, The Melting Pot. It is so yummy. We had a good night just spending time with each other.

Then Friday I studied all morning then went shopping at the Summit for a while. Trevor gave me money and told me not to come home until it was all gone. He knows I don't buy a lot for myself so he does this every now and then. He is the best.

On Saturday I studied until half time of the Auburn game then Trevor and I got ready and went to our friends Jason and Lindsey's house. We cooked out over there and watched the rest of the Auburn game and the Bama game. Towards the end of the night Sara Bentlee fell asleep on Trevor and he about went to sleep with her.

They have three great kids Aniston who is 3 years old, Griffin who is 2 years old, and the most recent addition Sara Bentlee.

Our New Office

A week ago Friday our doctors office moved into a new building. It is so nice, but I hate moving. We are enjoying the new space but just trying to figure out where we put everything. We have more storage space in this office than the old Winn Dixie where we were but it is all spread out in different areas instead all clumped together. On Thursday night I came home after packing to roses a card and Trevor saying get dressed we are going to Fox Valley to eat. He knows how stressed I have been and knows just the right things to do to make me smile.

The nursing assistant that I work with at the moment put in for a job transfer. She isn't a nurse but has been working in derm for years so taught me a lot when I first got started 2 years ago. So...it is about to be all on me for a while until we find someone else. If anyone knows of a nurse or nursing assistant that needs a job and has Dermatology experience we are looking. I am going to be more stressed than usual with work on top of school now. It is too large of a practice for just one nurse to handle. I am hoping that we find someone great though.

Open House and the ribbon ceremony for the building is on Tuesday! I will not be there of course because of school.

Race For The Cure And Get Together At The Morris House

This past Saturday Trevor and I ran in the Race for the Cure downtown. I was supper proud of myself! I ran the majority of it and I haven't ran since the Jingle Bell Run at Christmas time last year. I ran the first mile and a half straight without stopping then every now and then I would run in between walking. There were so many people there it was actually harder to run just because of that. Trevor and I probably ran an extra half mile just weaving in and out of people. The whole rest of the day after that I was in no pain. Then this am when I woke up I felt like I wasn't going to be able to walk my legs were so sore. It is such good exercise I really wish I had time to do it every day. Or at least every other day. I finished it in around 38 minutes.

When we got ready to leave the race we were looking for Marcie and Morris in the usual meeting area and couldn't find them. We had just given up and were starting to walk to the car when we saw Morris' parents finishing the race. They told us that Marcie fell and Morris was on his way with her to the hospital. Crazy but because of a stupid pine cone she broke her elbow and her foot.

After we got home Trevor got ready and went to the Morris house to watch football while I studied. It was really hard making myself study during the stupid Alabama game. I was hoping it was going to be like the Florida game and us go up by 23 and me then to turn off the TV and not worry about it, but no that is not what happened at all. It was basically the opposite as you all know. So I tried to study with it on mute and just look up every now and then but then I started just getting pissed so I had to turn it off and just study. Around 4 I left the house and met Trevor at Marcie and Justin's house to hang out for the rest of the night. We had a good time even though Bama lost.

Rob's 30th Birthday

A week ago on Saturday night about 40 people met at a Mexican restaurant in Hoover to surprise Rob for his birthday. I was so glad everyone was able to come. Bonnie and Andrew came in town and then many of his family members and friends were there to celebrate with him. Luckily there was a TV there so we could watch parts of the Alabama vs Florida game. After dinner we went to sing Karaoke. We had an awesome night hanging out with everyone.

# 39

Well...I know it has been a while so I am going to start from about two weeks ago. Trevor and I went through our closet and cleaned out clothes and shoes that we do not wear anymore. I did it somewhat when we got married and I moved all of my stuff to the new house but apparently did not do that good of a job at it. We both got rid of a lot of stuff.



It has been something I have wanted to do for a while.

We put our house on the market a little over a week ago so we needed to clean out some areas to make it look a little more organized. It is crazy how much stuff can accumulate in the almost two years that we have been here. We put it on the market with Remax. They came over and took some pictures and now it is on the website. I have a test tomorrow on blood. Turns out blood is pretty boring but there is lots of important things you can tell from it. I have been studying since about 1:30 this afternoon so I needed a little break. I will be up all night or at least half of it I am sure. So my next break you might see another one.

I have been really bad about blogging lately, life has been a little crazy. Hopefully this week I can do a couple. I have a test tomorrow that I am studying for at the moment.
