Snow and Valentine's Day

So..last Wednesday night my clinicals got canceled due to the threat of snow. We have had so much of it this year. I wasn't that concerned about it but happy clincals were canceled due to having a test the next day. Instead of starting to study that night at 11:30, like I usually do when I have clinicals, I started at six after I got home and settled from work. It was pretty nice. I was still studying at 11:30 when I looked outside and saw that there was at least an inch of snow on the ground and still snowing. Around that time I made the executive decision to stay up later to study. I thought for sure we would not be going to work on Thursday. We have closed for everything like that this year. So around two in the morning I decided to call it quits and go to bed. To my surprise at five in the morning on Thursday I got a call saying we were starting clinic at normal time, seven. Let me tell you how pumped I was that morning. It made my day a little brighter seeing all the snow that morning before a lot of people were out. It was so pretty.

Not really sure why the date is a day off on my camera. It is really the 10th but oh well.

After I left work I went to take my test then came home and crashed.

On Friday after studying all day we actually had class that night to make up for a snow day. After class that night Trevor and I went to The Melting Pot, one of our favorite restaurants, to celebrate Valentines. Mr. Hosey and Miss Madison decided to join us there. We had a great time. We usually don't do a lot for Valentines day just a nice dinner and cards.

On Monday at work I got these beautiful flowers delivered to the office from the best husband ever.

I had class that night until eight. I went and picked up Chinese for us to eat, even though it was 8:30 by then but we really wanted to eat dinner together that day. When I got home we exchanged cards and there was a large box sitting on the couch. When I opened the box it was these bad boys...

A pair of Michael Kors boots. I was really surprised, due to the fact that I had never told him I liked them. He overheard me talking to a girl a few weeks ago at a get together that I really liked her shoes and what kind they were. So the next week he said he started to look for them. He said he knew that I would not spend that much on shoes. He is such a good man and I love him very much. I hope everyone else had a good Valentine's Day!!!

Weekend of Birthdays

Last weekend was eventful. I studied during the day everyday which was a waste because I didn't do well on my test. First off please pray for me I really need it right now. We have only had two test so far and I am already struggling. I wanted this semester to be different and me not stressing out so much at the end of the semester to make it through my courses but it is impossible. I have the same teacher as I had last semester which is awful. It doesn't matter if I was to memorize every chapter on the test she makes everything so difficult and tries to trick you on almost every question. If I can get out of this ladies class I can for sure pass NCLEX. I am starting to study right now for our test on Thursday. Please, Please pray that it goes much better than the last.
Now back to the point of my post... On Saturday night we went to our friend Madison's 21st birthday. Such a little one but so sweet. I haven't been to a 21st birthday in a long time. We went to her family's house for a fun couple of hours away from the books.

On Sunday Trevor cleaned while I studied during the morning because we had a showing of our house that afternoon. Then we headed to my parents for Madison, my nieces 7th birthday. I can not believe she is getting so big. We had a good time eating lunch with them and doing cake. I am so sad that I can't be more of a part of their lives right now. But with school and work it is a lot just for Trevor and I to be a part of each others lives. Of course Maci has to have everything that her big sister has so my mom made her a small cake and she had a present to open too.

Our First Date!

Six years ago today is the day I went on my first date with this man!

Photobucket
We met six months prior in August, my first day at the bank. He met me after I left school at Jeff State, where I started out before Bama, at Rite Aide on Valleydale to pick me up. We went to dinner with my work (Amsouth Bank) at The Cheesecake Factory. It was our first time to ever go there. It was so good and my work family was so fun to hang out with him for the first time and break the ice. We had such a good time that he called me the next day and asked me out again for that night. I am so lucky to have someone that takes such good care of me especially right now. I love you baby and Happy 6yr Anniversary!
