Our Sunday Afternoon!!

It was such a nice day on Sunday. I am so ready for Spring and warmer weather. It has been such a long Winter. Trevor and I went to church that morning then went to Roly Poly to eat lunch. After lunch we wanted to do something outside but didn't know what. Trevor wanted to go fishing so I just decided to tag along and enjoy the weather. After an hour I would normally be like okay is it time to go yet but this time after two hours I was still enjoying it. Here is one of the fish that Trevor caught. Sorry the pictures are not that great they are from my phone!!

Snow and Valentines Day

These are pictures from 1 of the 3 snow days that we have had in the last week. What is up with Alabama?? On Friday I was off work anyway but Trevor went in and got off about noon. When Trevor got home we took Stanford out and he was jumping around everywhere in it.

We tried to take a family picture with the dog but it was too far away so it was blurry when we cropped it. We layed around the house for a little while then we left and went to my sisters house to hang out with the girls in the snow. They had so much fun.

It was funny Trevor would kick a small tree and lots of snow would fall on Madison's head.

Maci would not keep gloves on her little hands so she wasn't able to stay out long.

I think Madison could have stayed out all day.

We were hoping that the snow would not keep us from going to the Melting Pot on Friday night and it didn't. Trevor's parents went with us because they had never been before. We had a good time. It is so much food but so good.

On Valentines Day we hung out and watched the Olympics during the day then that night I cooked dinner for Trevor and I. I made Lasagna, salad and mimosas. It was all good. Trevor went to the store and when he got home I had the house all made up. It is hard when you live together to do surprises. I think Valentines Day is even more special because 5 years ago in February we went on our first date. I was so excited because we had only been dating about a week and a half on Valentines and he sent me a dozen red roses to the bank that I worked at. The funny part of it is at the time he did not know my last name so on the delivery envelope just said Tiffany and the blank where you put the last name was empty. I saved the card and still have it today. He just told me about that a year or two ago and when I looked back at the card I realized it. Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines day with their sweetie.

Christmas 2009

This Christmas was our first one together as a married couple. I didn't think it would be that different since we have been together for five years but it was. It was so nice. Christmas Eve we have a tradition of going to Trevor's church for their Mass then to dinner with the whole family.

Then Christmas morning we woke up and did our presents which was awesome. I got Trevor a few things including a new soft top for his jeep which was really needed. He gave me another band for my wedding set. I was super surprised. I told him that I wanted one like for our five year wedding anniversary or something down the road. But I was very happy with getting it a little early. Everyone may think that this is crazy but I bought Trevor and I matching PJ bottoms to wear Christmas Eve and Day. My family did that growing up and I didn't want to stop the tradition.

After we did our presents to each other I made a hashbrown casserole to take to Trevor's parents house. We stayed in our pajamas and went to the Lobdell's and did Christmas with them and ate lots of breakfast casseroles. They gave us a fence for Christmas for the dog, which was really nice. They still gave us a stocking and a few little things that morning though so we would have a few things to open. After we did everything at his parents we went home, unloaded the car and we left for my families house. We did presents with my family and then ate dinner with them. We had such a wonderful day celebrating the holiday with both of our families.

We also had a Tacky Christmas Party at the house this year. It was a lot of fun. We dressed up in our tacky outfits and got together. The boys actually impressed me with their outfits . They did a pretty good job. Here are some of the pictures from that as well.

Halloween 2009

Halloween this year we went to Ben and April's house in Hoover. We wore our same 50's costumes that we wore on our cruise. We had a good time but only knew a hand full of people there. Alissa and Chad were there, Trevor's brother and our soon to be sister-in-law, so we enjoyed hanging out with them. Everyone dressed up and it was nice to meet lots of new faces.

We went to my parents house before we got ready to go to Ben's house and saw Madison and Maci my two nieces. They went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood.

I am almost up to date with all of my blogs then I am definitely going to slow down on my posting.

Singles Cruise 2009

Don't ask about the name!! We had just got on the Carnival cruise ship and we were just sitting around having a few drinks and we all took off our rings and took a picture of them together. With them all off, not really sure who said it but someone said now it is a singles cruise and it just kind of stuck the whole trip. We drove to New Orleans docked the ship on Thursday and then came back to port the next Monday morning. We just went on a 4 day cruise to Cozumel. It was Trevor and I, our friends Marcie and Justin Morris, and Shelly and Sam Morris (no relation). We had a really good time. Our boat was cool it had some fun slides on the back of the boat. On the front of the boat there was a little golf area but it was so windy on the front it was hard to play. The boys tried to play while the girls were laying by the pool.

There was a captains ball where everyone got dresses up for dinner and took pictures. I love getting all fancy so I loved this night.

We had a Halloween night since it was a week later. We all dressed up in costumes and went to a party. It was fun getting dressed up but the party was in a small bar on the ship and everyone was dancing so it was really hot. So we did not stay a long time. It was fun seeing what everyone else had on though

When we got back to New Orleans we walked around the French Quarter because I had never been there and went in a few shops. We went to this place to eat that was called La Bayou Restaurant it was sooo good. I love Cajun food. I had some really good crawfish pasta. I would go back just for the atmosphere and the food.

Football Season 2009-2010

Roll Tide Roll!!!!

Soo... This football season was awesome for us Alabama Fans! It was stressful but great in the end. Our friends are big on football, so every weekend if someone did not have people over to their house then we had people over. It was mainly at our house and at Devin's house. We went to Marcie and Justin's house one week but I was very sick with what I thought was Bronchitis but the next day I went back to the doctor and turns out is was the Swine Flu. I am so glad no one else got it because there were a lot of people over there that night. I kind of just kept to myself that night. Trevor made a beer pong table before football season started and that was a big hit.

The first football weekend was at our house. We had a lot of people here and grilled out. It was so much fun until the Alabama game started. That was when our dog decided to run away. We ran through the woods and to the main road with quit a few friends for a good while. We finally caught him and got back to the house around half-time. That was when we decided that we really needed a fence. Other than that we did not have that many adventures during the season. Now that football season is over the boys have probably already started the count down for next seasons kick off.

We are just so blesses to have wonderful friends to be able to hang out with. Here are a few random pictures for the season.....
