On Christmas morning Trevor and I swapped our gifts to each other along with our stockings as soon as we got up, as we have done since we got married. When I opened my stocking these were in it…
I don’t know if I have mentioned but since about the 12th week of pregnancy I have had allergy issues. I know from what I have learned and hear, it is pretty common. I wake up in the middle of the night most nights around 2AM blowing my nose. Trevor has had a hard time sleeping through it but has been really considerate not to get too irritated. I thought this was clever. These things really do help. If you have never used them they actually some how lift up the exterior of your nose. The only bad thing about them is for a few hours after you take it off your nose looks a little swollen. I guess I could be a spokes person for breathe right strips. He also got me two pairs of shoes, and this bad boy….
I have been wanting another Louis Vuitton purse for a while so I was very pumped about this one. I got Trevor a few things and new seat covers for his jeep that he has been wanting. I wasn’t sure if they were going to make it in time for Christmas because they weren’t shipped until Tuesday, the week of Christmas, and they were coming from Hawaii. But they made it and he loved them.
After we got finished with that we stayed in our pajamas and headed to Trevor’s parents to do Christmas with them. When we first got there we ate breakfast before opening presents. We both got lots of nice things, mine included gift cards to various maternity stores. It is getting harder and harder to wear my pre-pregnancy pants comfortably. Can’t wait to go shopping which I probably will pretty soon.
Stanford Kept trying to grab the reindeers nose on Justin’s pants
How cute are these little socks!!!
After we finished opening presents we started preparing lunch. I was so happy my mom was able to come and eat with us there, since my dad had to work. It was very nice of Trevor’s parents to include her. Not only was my mom and Trevor’s family there but Paul, Christy, and their children as well. We had a crowd. Lunch was very good. We had the traditional Honey Baked Ham and all the fixings to go along with it. After lunch and clean up we headed home. On Christmas night we went to Devin and Mary’s house to cook out with them along with HB and Catherine. It was nice to get together with a few friends.
On Monday morning we woke up to only have another Christmas morning with my family. On a normal Christmas we would go to Trevor’s parents for breakfast then my parents for lunch but we had to change it up a little this year since my dad worked the day of Christmas. We stayed in our pajamas and headed over to my families house for a crazy breakfast. It was probably the best breakfast I have ever had. They made so many good things. After we stuffed our faces we opened presents with them.
They did too much for us as they always do. They are such giving people. Along with many other gifts, my mom and I are going to Storkland to get a glider/chair for the babies room as part of our Christmas. The girls loved all of their presents as well. They got multiple things including American Girl dolls, Barbie dolls, clothes, bean bad chairs, and these bikes…
After we finished with presents they had to ride them around a little outside. The baby even got a Christmas stocking….
After we told them it was a boy Christmas Eve they went and got lots of things for his stocking too.
I am starting to look a little pregnant or maybe just a little fat to others! HA! We had such an amazing Christmas weekend. We are so blessed and fortunate to have the families that we do. I can’t wait until our baby boy gets to experience it with us. I am ready to start new traditions with the family including him.
