The Beach #23

This past weekend I knocked off # 23 on my 101 list. We went to the beach for Bonnie and Andrew's bachelor/bachelorette weekend. It was a lot of fun. On Friday we got down there at about 12 in hopes of getting a little sun but it was really cloudy. We all just hung out on the beach and in the hot tub most of the time because the wind was blowing so hard while we waiting on everyone to arrive. That night the girls all went out to dinner at Cosmos and the guys went to Hooters then we met up with them later at Live Bait.

Saturday it stormed pretty bad until about 2 in the afternoon. We went to breakfast and just went to a few shops of course stopping at Dippin Dots before heading back to the hotel. That afternoon we pretty much did the same thing as Friday afternoon, hung out on the beach in the rain and in the hot tub. That night we broke up for dinner so it would not take so long to eat. Me, Trevor, Morris, Marcie, Wade, Seth, Rob, and Yarbrough all went to eat at the Shrimp Basket. It was so yummy. After dinner we met back up with everybody at this piano bar at the Warf called Rum Runners. It was fun. Wes even got up on the stage and played the drums with them for a song. Pretty funny, but he is awesome at playing the drums.

On Sunday, it was the prettiest day so we decided to take advantage of it. Marcie and I went out at around 8:30. There was not a cloud in the sky. The boys met us out there after they woke up and we hung out until around one before loading up to leave. On the way out we went back to the Warf to do a little shopping and of course Dippin Dots one more time before leaving.

All in all it was a great weekend. I was so glad that so many people were able to fly in from all over the place to be there with them. There were probably around 30 people staying with us.

They are getting married the first weekend in June here in Birmingham.

Beach Time!!

I am getting so excited about our beach trip this weekend. It is a bachelor/bachelorette party for Bonnie and Andrew. Trevor and I are riding down there with Marcie, Justin, and Wade. Pray that the weather starts looking better for us over the weekend because as of right now it is not looking so great. The original plan was to take the jeep down there with the doors and top off but that is looking like it is going to be changed pretty soon. So sad! I am planning on going to get a new camera before we go so hopefully I will have lots of pictures to put up after we get home. Here is the place we are staying.

Speaking of the beach Trevor's parents booked our house in Destin for the Lobdell summer vacation. We are going the second week in August for 7 nights. It is one of the two weeks I will have off from school in the summer if I get back in. I should find out in the next few weeks. It is also the only week Justin (Trevor's little bro) has off from school, so it was perfect. Me, Trevor, Trevor's mom, and Justin are all going down on Saturday, his dad is coming down Tuesday then Chad and Alissa are coming for the weekend. They are having to do the same thing Trevor and I did last year because we had just taken off a week for our honeymoon. Here are some pictures of the place we are staying for family vacation.

I am going to be so ready for a break if I do get back into school. Listen to first semesters schedule......Monday and Thursday I will have class from 4-7:45 then Tuesday and Wednesday I will have clinicals from 3:30-11:30. Sounds awesome huh? On top of school I will be at work at 6:30 in the morning and go straight to class or clinicals all four days. We will just see how long I can keep that up. Trevor is going to be able to have some serious male bonding time.

Our Anniversary Weekend #35 and #56

Today is mine and Trevor's one year wedding anniversary. Even though we have been together for over 5 years this past year has been like we started all over at square one. It has been awesome. I would never give anything for Trevor. I don't know what I would do without him. You can see a few pictures from a year ago today of our wedding HERE.

We had such a wonderful weekend. I will start with Friday. Friday morning I checked off another thing on my list by trying Yoga. I did it with Marcie and Melanie at Marcie's house. It was an hour and a half long. It wasn't just regular Yoga either it was the P90X version. I didn't think that I would but I was actually sore the next day. After that we layed out for only an hour. The pool was not actually open so we couldn't get in the water and after an hour and it was time for a dip in the pool we were ready to go because it was hot. We went to Yogurt Mountain for a little treat afterwards. It was pretty good. After I got home that afternoon we got ready and me, Trevor, Mary, and Devin went to Fox Valley for dinner. It was so good! A great way to start off our anniversary weekend.

On Saturday we stayed at the Wynfrey and ate at Shula's, yummy! It was nice not to have to drive home from dinner and just walk to the room. We were full from dinner but had to get dessert so we ordered it and about 30 minutes after we were in the room they brought it to us there. After our dessert we walked around the mall for a little bit. Crazy how it was basically just us walking around the mall because it was closed. All of the stores were closed but you could still walk around. It was kind of nice and relaxing to not have to dodge people.

And that brings me to today. We just had a relaxing day today. We went to lunch with my besties from high school Kaci, Sam, and Heather and all of the husbands. We had a good time just hanging out and eating Mexican. Heather had some wonderful news for us while we were eating. They are expecting their first baby. She is already 3 months pregnant. She is due in October. We are so happy for them. They took a picture of the girls all together but it didn't turn out for some reason. Of course the guys who didn't really look to excited about taking a picture it turned out of them.

After we got home we ate our wedding cake and had a glass of Champagne to celebrate. I of course put orange juice in mine because it is not that great by itself. The cake was a lot better than I thought it would be. It was a little dry but that was it. we actually ate a whole piece.

This is the original cake all put together!

All in all we had a wonderful weekend.

Surprise Trevor with something...
Trevor and I decided to go somewhere for our one year wedding anniversary and stay at a hotel and go to a nice restaurant for dinner. So we said that we were not going to do gifts just have a nice weekend. So I decided to surprise him and get him a new silver watch anyway. He has a really nice black one but he can't wear it with brown. He has been wanting one for a little while now. I gave it to him on Friday. He was really happy with his surprise. I thought I did pretty good picking it out on my own as well. We went up to the mall on Saturday and he looked around to make sure he didn't like another one in the store better but he decided to keep the one I got him because it was his favorite. Sorry the pictures aren't that great because of course they are on my phone.

Thirsty Thursday

Last night we went to Thirsty Thursdays where I always get Diet Coke!! I was pretty disappointed though I usually get twenty-five cent boneless wings there but they are not doing that on the same night anymore. It was so pretty outside that day but chilly that night. We left earlier than we planned because we were cold. All in all it was a pretty fun night hanging out with friends. I am so ready to get a new camera, I am lost without one. Here are a few pictures that Marcie took from Thursday night.

Madison is playing soccer this year for the YMCA. This is her first year playing any sports and she is loving it. She is trying to get the concept still though. Last week she went all the way from one end of the field to the other and scored, the bad thing was it was the other teams goal! HA! She was so excited.
Here are a few pictures from Madison playing soccer. I have gone to one of her games. But I am going to try to go to another one before her season is over.

So I got some pictures off the photographers blog from the wedding. Here are a few of the happy couple

These are from the reception. I got them off of their website so they are very small. I will have to replace them later with the right size. When I tried to blow them up it just made them really fuzzy.

I don't know if I mentioned it before but they had a photo booth there. It was so much fun! They had a nice camera set up and you could go up and take whatever pictures that you wanted. They had a remote that you pushed to actually take it. We took a lot. Here are a few from that as well.

Easter

Me and Trevor's 1st Easter as a married couple!! We had a good day. We usually go to Trevor's parents church on Saturday night before Easter and to dinner after but Chad and Alissa's flight home from Mexico came in 45 minutes before it started. We were unsure if their plane would make it in on time so we did not go. They ended up making it just in time for church.

On Sunday morning we went to church with my family then to my Nanny's for lunch. We took lots of family pictures but as you all know right now I have no camera so I have to get some from my mom. As soon as I get them I will put them up.

After my Nanny's house we went to Paul and Christy's house to hang out with all of Trevor's family. We heard all about Chad and Alissa's trip and talked with them for a while. It sounded like they had a wonderful time. Unfortunately Alissa got sick one of the last days there and as soon as they got home from the airport they went to the doctor. She has Bronchitis and an ear infection. They still had a wonderful time though.
